This morning the humans had a closer look at the map and were calculating a bit. Turned out we have a few more kilometers in front of us than expected and so the race began. Next goal: Jurbarkas. We loaded with a big breakfast, a bowl of rice for me and some scrambled eggs for the humans.
I had a day off from running and to be honest it was pretty great. The road went up and down like a roller coaster and when it was straight there was headwind, when the wind settled we were suddenly on a gravel road, when everything was fine it started raining. This is how Lithuania fought us all day long, trying to keep us in the same spot, but we won today.
A good 100km later we arrived on the Camping ground in Honey Walley – a very recommendable place – and were welcomed and greeted by the happiest and friendliest Lithuanien human so far. Now we are all tired (me from the shaky ride and the running around with the other dogs on the camping) and are loading up for tomorrow with some local honey in our tent.
(No photos were taken today due to harsh weather and human exhaustion)
Great job! 😀 gogo!
